What is a regular boiler?
Regular boilers are also called conventional, traditional or heat-only boilers. They’re found in systems with a hot water cylinder and header tanks in the loft.
What is a system boiler?
A system boiler heats a hot water cylinder like a regular boiler, but takes its water straight from the mains, so there are no tanks in the loft.
Do I need a regular or system boiler, or could I have a combi?
If you have more than one bathroom in regular use, a regular or system boiler will give you more hot water at once. With one bathroom, a combi is usually the better choice. We’ll advise at your free survey.
